Biography

Maya Gwynn earned her B.A. in Public Relations from California Baptist University in 2013. In 2014, she graduated from the Second City conservatory, soon after, began teaching improvisation and creative writing to children, teens, and adults in both schools and recovery centers. Since 2018 she has been teaching children and teens with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and autism in different Mental Health facilities. Maya is excited to be teaching improvisation and creative writing classes for the Wholistic Health Collaborative. She believes the tools learned in improvisation and creative writing; such as collaboration, communication, and critical thinking help children and teens reach their full potential.
