Biography

Rebekah is a recent graduate of California State University, San Bernardino, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is planning to pursue a graduate degree in School Psychology, where she aspires to deepen her understanding of child development, assessment, and evidence-based interventions for school-based children. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with children and their families to support their growth and overall well-being. Rebekah currently serves as a research and administrative intern under Dr. Emily Shum, where she continues to develop clinical and professional skills. Specifically, she is using her experience as a behavioral therapist to implement the Zones of Regulation curriculum with children who have neurodevelopmental conditions. Rebekah and Dr. Shum look forward to offering the Zones of Regulation intervention to more families in the coming months.
